Most of Hampton’s forestlands in Oregon are open to the public to non-motorized access except during fire season. While overnight camping and campfires are prohibited, our lands can be used for wildlife viewing, hiking, biking, hunting, fishing, and foraging, except during periods of high fire danger. If you decide to venture out into a private working forest, please respect the work and the environment. Please keep out of active harvest areas and always be mindful of fire danger.
Washington North Cascades
Our North Cascades forestland, located in Whatcom, Skagit and Snohomish Counties, is accessible with a fee access recreational permit. The permit area includes ~79,000 acres and is limited to 600 motorized permits and 150 non-motorized permits.
Washington Pacific and Wahkiakum Counties
Our forestlands in Pacific and Wahkiakum Counties are open to non-motorized public access except during fire season. While overnight camping and campfires are prohibited, our lands can be used for wildlife viewing, hiking, biking, hunting, fishing, and foraging, except during periods of high fire danger. If you decide to venture out into a private working forest, please respect the work and the environment. Please keep out of active harvest areas and always be mindful of fire danger.

Eatonville
Our Eatonville property consists of ~27,000 acres in the Cascade foothills of southern Pierce County. To access these lands, you must obtain a recreational permit. 275 permits are made available each year. The recreation term runs from May 1st through December 31st. The property is closed to all recreation access from January 1st to April 30th and during periods of high fire risk.
