Rooted in Family,

Growing with Vision

With over 80 years in business, our story continues to evolve.

Hampton Lumber began in 1942 with a single sawmill in Willamina, Oregon. Since then, we’ve grown along with global demand for sustainable building materials. We’re now a family of sawmills throughout the Pacific Northwest and Canada. We’re also forest managers and we proudly market building materials all over the world. We take pride in producing carbon-friendly wood products sourced from some of the most sustainably managed forest resources on the planet.

Sustainability

At Hampton Lumber, sustainability is more than a concept. It’s built into everything we do. Our vision of sustainability focuses on the economic, social, and environmental health of communities where:

  • Streams, rivers, and drinking water systems are clean.
  • Land is used efficiently and in ways that create a wide variety of benefits.
  • Renewable resources are promoted and used to support clean energy, housing, and other needs.
  • All people can earn a decent wage and share equally in environmental, social, and cultural benefits.
  • Wood is an affordable, accessible, and effective tool in fighting global climate change and creating greener built environments.

We’re committed to meeting today’s needs while preserving the planet for future generations.

Our Forests

Pacific Northwest working forests produce high quality building materials as well as a myriad of recreational opportunities. Hampton Lumber forestlands in Oregon and Washington offer both permitted and open access opportunities for hunting, fishing, hiking, wildlife viewing, biking, and foraging.

Please remember that these are working forests – respect the environment, stay clear of active operations, and always be fire aware.
